A private yoga class is a unique opportunity to work one-to-one. This session will be customized to your needs and you will receive my undivided attention and unlimited postural correction, asana adjustment, breath awareness and meditation throughout the class. This is recommended if you are new to yoga or if you wish to go deeper into your practice.
What is the right style for you?
Vinyasa / Power Yoga
In Vinyasa yoga all movements are synchronized with the breath, creating a practice that is both dynamic and flowing. The asanas, or postures, are derived from the Ashtanga system.
Power Yoga is a fitness-based approach to the Ashtanga style of yoga. With its emphasis on strength and flexibility, it is a great alternative to going to the gym. Leave feeling strong, stretched, and blissed out! Intermediate to fast-paced class.
Gentle Flow Yoga/ Therapeutic Yoga
Gentle Flow Yoga is an ideal class for active seniors, beginners, and all students that prefer a class with a relaxed pace. A perfect antidote for those who are stressed out, weakened or fatigued. Allowing the body to be supported in different Yoga poses, both active and restorative postures, with conscious breathing brings balance in one’s energy and a clear calmness to one’s mind.
Therapeutic Yoga is a particularly effective practice for those recovering from, or living with, injury or illness. It blends restorative yoga (supported postures), gentle yoga, breathwork, hands-on healing, and guided meditation techniques combined in such a way that it is an excellent choice for those who need something gentle yet effective for bringing the body into balance and reducing stress.
Prenatal Yoga / Posnatal Yoga
Prenatal Yoga is a safe and gentle class for women to attend throughout their pregnancy. Women will learn specific yoga poses, breathing exercises, and relaxation techniques designed to relieve the physical and emotional discomforts that occur during pregnancy, and to prepare them, body, mind, and spirit, to give birth. Prenatal Yoga will benefit you through all stages of your pregnancy.
Posnatal Yoga classes will help you recover from birth more harmoniously, release the pains you might be experiencing, and get back in touch with your vital energy, your core strength and inner balance. We will also work though some postnatal yoga with baby that are fun and good for you!
Meditation & Breathing
This class will teach us about the breath and various simple techniques to access the breath, quiet the mind and turn into the sublime radiance of our hearts. Breathing and Meditation will significantly improve the quality of your life: the way you lead your life and the manner in which you respond to life! These practices will deepen your connection to Spirit and manifest abundant happiness and peace in your life. Think of pranayama (breathing techniques) and meditation as food for the brain to keep us healthy, vibrant and at ease.
